Today I am doing my tanks' maintenance. I just got done doing a watch change on my 36g Cichlid tank (only has one at this moment). I will be doing a water change on my girl's 2.5g tank soon and then addressing my display; 54g reef tank.

Tomorrow taking the girls for the swimming lessons.

I'm sure the wife will have other plans for me as well.

Hope everyone enjoy their weekend.

Nothing too exciting here. Helping a friend with his pond today and possibly stopping to see my nephew on my way home. Lazy day Sunday!

Been doing pond maintenance for 2 weeks now. Just keeps turning green. I may just pull it out and do away with it. To much trouble IMO.
Other than that just paying bills and relaxing. Probably take my grandson swimming Sunday.

How big is the pond and what kind of filtration does it have?

160g. Its a crappy one, small box from Lowes that submerges. Thinking of making one from a storage container.

What you can try is giving it a good cleaning and full water change just be sure to acclimate fish back carefully. Once clean get some aquatic plants hyacinths are a good choice but do not make it over the winter. They 1 use up nutrients similar to macro in a fuge and 2 create shade helping reduce algae. I will say this year has been bad for algae in ponds, not sure what it is maybe the weather.
