What do I need

I need a chiller that is reliable and affordable
My tank is 65gal with a 30gal sump would like to keep a temp of no more than 73 n half degrees
My tank measurements are
36 long
24 high
18 wide
What size chiller should I be looking for
Counting on my reef peeps to have a clue because I don’t

Assuming air conditioned room at around 76 or less, a 1/10 HP should do the trick.

Paulie, if you're in a pinch, I have a JBJ Arctica Nano (1/20 HP) (that I'm selling for $150), that you could borrow. It's most likely too small, but it could help getting the temp down a bit.

FYI, you'll also need a temperature controller (if not Apex or similar, a Ranco will do the trick) and a pump to circulate the water.

FYI, if you borrow my chiller, it's soooo underrated you most likely won't need a temperature controller......just a pump of between 100 - 160 gallons per hour.

RFBF thank you so much for your offer I will be in touch with you tomorrow evening when I return to land I’m leaving at midnight tonight.
Here is a picture of my temp solution It works but the only problem is the one side of the tank is a lot cooler than the other side I have powerhead blowing the water across the hopefully even it out
