If its a pest, it sure is a real pretty one ;D Does it take food ??Looks like it might.
It really shouldn't do much damage since you have it isolated on that rock,I would let it grow out and see what it turns into .

Me too. I was hesitant to say that because Majanos can be deceptively pretty as well.

If it moved on its own, could it be a rock flower anemone? Do you know where it came from?
 
to me it looks like a rock flower anemone especially since it moved. It doesn't really look like a paly the tentacles look too thick. But until you can get a definate ID i would have it isolated

There's one sure way to tell. Leave it alone. If you have 50 more them next month,...it's a majano. ;D

It doesn't quite have the Majano "look" I would expect. You know, that glowing green aura of unrepentant evil.The tentacles on this are a little understated, compared to other photo's I've seen of Majanos.
 
well I may be showing my preference in terms of video games (RPG) - but it looks kinda like a malboro.

Best not to use poison and load up on fire-based weapons. ;D
