I’ve noticed it doing this a few hrs after the lights go off.

It’s been doing that the last few nights. During the day it looks perfectly happy.

It's a stress response. I see filamental threads. Is it possible food is landing on it.

It is consistently about an hour after lights out. At that point I can’t see anything landing in it. It is in a relatively new tank though. Maybe it just needs time…and love. ;-)

I will just say it's not normal for that to just happen. Theyvonly do that when somethings happens that causes it to feed, like with amino acid dosing, something lands on it, or a pest like bugs or AEFW.
