does anyone know where i can buy cheap live feeder rats for my snakes? i only found frozen feeders online, but i need live ones.

i would feel safer catching raccoons in my yard than buying anything that may be full of mites and disease from that place.
i emailed him. thanks greg. hope he has large rats.
i was looking more for a wholesaler. $6-$8 per large rat is too much.

sorry not off the top of my head...........it was when i was in college...many moons ago and i got the info from the guy running the labs at Rutgers ..maybe try and give them a try and see what they say
or ask another breeder ...there use to be a few around the state and i always thought they were willing to help others out....besides you might make a good contact or two for breeding opportunities with different Gene pools
