I want to stack my rock and do it so that it lasts ... I was looking for Acrylic rod fittings .. Maybe long pieces that I can cut myself .. Anyone have any Ideas???

You could use PVC piping, which was used in any rockwork support I have seen. Much cheaper, available and easier to use. If you still want acrylic rods, and you are close to NYC, there is a store on a Canal street that sells that stuff.
Found Acrylic Rods on Ebay ... 9' for 2.00+ 10.00 for shipping... 12.00 .. Fine by me.

It comes in three 3' pieces and I cut some down to 3" pieces and I got a 3/16 concrete drill bit from home depot and drilled the rock and the rods fit perfect ... when they are cut down to 3" they are sturdy and don't bend.
I'll use them to mount corals and hold rock together.
