Don't bother buying a cheap lens. Wait for the good stuff (or better yet, buy it used)!

I agree, don't bother with a cheap lens...before I knew anything I bought a real cheap fisheye lens...it's total crap.

My macro lens is a Sigma, I really like it.

I also use a Canon. Been using them for over 25 years (Ah..I loved my F1). Totally agree don't buy the junk. You get what you pay for. I lot of the camera websites list used equipment.

I use a canon 100mm lens.

Anyone know what extension tube is needed for a Canon Rebel XTi.

Also would This work well for taking underwater pictures?

Absolutely NOT!!!

The front lens element is open to the elements so that you can get a clear picture. There is a drawstring around the lens front to cinch it closed tight around the barrel. You would not want to put this in water.

Good point. $285.oo ... that's more like our hobby.

THIS is COOOOOL! C'mon... who's going to buy one for us to play with?

Phyl this is very cool but for $285.00 I would have to be living on an island in the Pacific before I get one.

If you were living on an island in the pacific, you'd have a 1500$ one, not a 285$ one! Look at what you're protecting! Get that money back from your investments! :)
