Why cant I post in reef central

This is perhaps a weird post in NJRC, but I didnt know where else to turn for help. I registered to RC yesterday, but I can't PM or reply to posts there. I realise perhaps the account is waiting activation, but I have received no email from them either. Any one has any ideas how long it usually takes?

its usually quick, but when i know i had a problem with using my yahoo account. i never got the email, but when i switched it to my gmail i got the activation right away.

i dont know if you use yahoo, but if you do, it could be this

If you're able to login there, I'm surprised you can't PM or post. They've recently upgraded their servers/forum software and I'm not really sure what their registration process is anymore. I'm pretty sure they required activation, but I'd think that you wouldn't be able to login if your registration process was not complete.

I am using gmail. ... Then the wierdest thing happened. I my email to my office mail, where they could succesfully contact me and I got my activation done. I think there is a bug in their systems, where the first email entered doesnt work. youpey seems to have a similar experience.
