Wrong fish, Wrong Place/ Wrong Time

Ever since I got back in I've made a bunch of wrong decisions- wrong fish for the size tank, wrong fish for the 'community' etc- It started with my first tank-a13 gal- I was talked into a neon dotty and a Springer damsel by a fish store most of us have bought from- I still keep Springers, the dotty I traded, then I read that 6 line wrasses could be had in a 13g- what a joke- I traded that one too ( you know who you are :)). As we all do we move up or add tanks. I read that I could have a couple of Pink damsels in one tank and that they were one of the less aggressive damsels- not so-I am still living with one. Bought a Midas Blenny ( from Africa ) and a Yellow Dottyback for my next tank- both turned brownish- the dotty got very nasty ( as all do) After I combined tanks and was able to rehome some I moved on to my 75g and have a tank that gets along on the most part- one mistake, maybe was the sleeper goby- it kept the sand bed so clean that there weren't any pods in it and spewed sand all over everything. I also thought that some fish , not being aggressive could be added to a tank that was established ( chromis) didn't work out
Got a story?

lol you are not the only one man!! Things like this happens
I had 4 cromis a few months ago hoping they get along and now I’m on 2, actually getting them out today with a fish trap.
Leave and learn buddy

Chromis were the fish I always added first- inexpensive, hardy- you could have multiples- I also found that it's not the best idea to add them to an established tank
