I have a fairly new 55 gal. glass tank I was going to use for a sump but I want to keep my external pump. does anyone have one to sell or sell trade? wanted to go about a 55 for a 150 D.T. If not where do I get one? are they hard to make?

Try etss in ny. They make great sumps but you pay for it. Why not just drill your 55 for your pump. Get a bit from glass-holes.com

That i don't know you have to contact the manufacturer and see. If it's not tempered you can drill it. It's very easy

maybe I'll run a submersible. only thing is my dolphin pumps 3600 gph
anyone using an in sump pump that big? seems to me it would produce a lot of heat

Since I'm planning to put a frag section in sump with a decent light I decided to go glass. just to keep it clean and scrachless. so what brand tanks can be drilled? something used out there? has to be max of 42" long which is custom I know. 12" wide x20"deep.
