I have a Mag-Drive 18 as my return pump. It had trouble re-starting after being turned off. I took it completely apart and found that the impeller, magnet and ceramic shaft all apear fine. But, the rubber boots on the end of the shaft are beat. These are what I really looking for. If anybody has any old impellers with broken shafts, etc. that is willing to sell the rubber boots cheap, just PM me. I believe my Mag-Drive is an 18B, since I bouhgt it in 2005. Apparently the 18A models are the ones made before 2000.
They only sell the entire impeller assembly, so if I can't find one, I'm just going to have to buy a new impeller assembly.
