LOL, noob to the softie world. Can Xenia drop babies like Kenya trees? I was kinda sorta leaning towards getting a small rock of them and see them wave around. Looking for the pulsing type. Anyone have any?

TIA!

A) I think you've lost your mind
B) Either they will perish instantly in your tank (too clean? can you keep macro algae now?) or they are going to spread like a virus and you'll rue the day you dreamt this scheme up!

They will "walk" across rocks, leaving "skid marks" behind (lol). As they do this new trees emerge. They will travel to the highest light source, walking across everything you own in the process if you've put them at the bottom.

Put them in your fuge.

*ughh, it's never easy for us stickheads*

A.) I think I have lost my mind
B.) I have a fuge? No wait, I have no fuge.

I want something that moves in the tank darn it. No anemones by the way.

Maybe I'll just get a "six pack" of anthias....

Hey Ed, maybe I'll give it a shot anyways, prefer on a small rock or some kind of attached surface. I'm not touching that slimy goo of a coral trying to munt it with toothpics or lace netting or frag glue. How much you want for it? You going to the feb meeting?

Think long and hard about the GSP... I mean Xenia... before you add it to your tank.

Stick (I'm so punny) to the Anthias.

okay. you got me on that one. As soon as I see a single polyp of GSP in the tank, it's getting kalked.

Maybe I'll just get more clams, their mantles sorta sway in the current!

OKAY! no Xenia for me, nevermind the last post Ed!

My frog spawn sways nicely in the breeze. I'm sure hammer will as well. I don't have any problem controlling GSP. Oh wait.....there on SAND!!!!!!! I'm sure there are some other LPS that will fill the void and be controlled.

HAD. one jumped
one became gorilla crab bait
one dissappeared in the void

the lyretails went to a friend's tank along with the regal and watanabeis

Sorry to hear about the jumper (and the crab bait and the abyss). Why'd ya ditch the lyretails?

I highly recommend a frogspawn. That's a GREAT coral.

And I'm LOL at Ed pushing the Xenia. You were a popular guy at the dorms too, weren't ya, Ed?

I'll see the Anthelia and raise you two Kenya Trees. That stuff really sways!

BTW is this sudden softening of the heart have anything to do with my recent visit? I don't remember pushing softies or LPS??

On the other hand I've been staring at the tank wondering how to place all these sticks into the existing layout. ;D

no, seriously guys, thanks for the offers, tom, bill, but I have to wait until the SPS turn back to their original colors. They are all monotone right now, stressed out from the move. Most of their colors are brown :)
