Zero - hand immersion Nori Clip

As the subject line states-

No more annoying "wiping hands after dunking in tank after trying 8 times to attach the suction cup on the glass to attach another sliver of Nori only to dunk your hands back in next feeding time OR better still, trying to remove dislodged from glass feeding clip under your rock structure" fix.


Take an old Maxi jet clip
The suction cup Seaweed clip
2 Zip ties
a small section of 3/4" PVC and PVC brackets (unless you have a return PVC manifold)

and Zippie tie them together using the hole.

Attach to PVC- and never have to dunk your hand in again!

my purple tang was attacking my clips like one of mike vicks pitbulls. he would pull the suction cup off the glass everytime. so i started zip tying the algae to a piece of rubble and dropping in the bottom of the tank, but he was actually moving it this way too. and the hermits were getting at it as well. so i've come up with a new method- i zip tie the algae to a piece of rubble and suspend it about half way down the tank with a piece of fishing line. this way only the fish can get at it, and no matter how hard her tries the purple tang cannot gree it. it works well for the other tangs too. all three tangs can actually hit it at the same time. looks pretty cool too.

This is a great idea...I have mine right in line with the power head...sort of like a treadmill for tangs.
