Zoos not opening fully

Not sure what is going on but some of my zoos are not opening up and some are partally open. Even my GSP is staying tucked away for the most part. I recently switched lights form a outer orbit pro series to a solaris. Could that be doing it? Nitrates and nitrites are all 0. Fish are doing great. Clam is doing great. SPS and LPS are fine. Any Ideas?

How recently???? If they are getting used to the light they will not be happy for a while. Mine took a while to adjust to things and you have to be carefull to make sure they don't start to die on you.

I would change the settings to 50% on both blue and white and see the results.

The light has been on about a week. Just noticed my alk is only 100 ppm what should it be at? I only have the G series solaris.

I personally found that 50% on both seems to make everything happy until you acclimate them to the new light. (not sure about the alk)

I set mine to 50% and raised 5% each week until getting up to 100%.

It should be between 125 and 200 ppm. 100 ppm is 2 meq or 5.6 dkh which is low.

What are your other parameters? SG, ph, CA and MG in particular?

What salt are you using and how often do you do water changes? I would test the water you mix for water changes and if it tests OK, I would slowly bring up the alk with some more frequent water changes.

Also, are you sure your test kit is ok? What kind of kit do you use?

Are you adding any supplements? If so what are they?
