What Jebeo WP mode do you use?

Hey Guys,

I just put a Jebeo WP25 in my 40 breeder and it is BARELY enough flow for my liking. I am so glad I did not buy the WP 10 after hearing how strong the WP 25 is.

So what mode does everyone use? I currently have it on ELSE (s1) mode.

thats pretty weird. play around with the settings. my wp25 on full blast almost spills water out of my 40b. wave 1 is the strongest and you have to have the dial all the way up

I have one in a 125 6ft long tank on mode h1. W1 with the dial just past half and it sends waves clear accross the tank.

Else mode is random flow. I noticed withat mode that it wont always be enough flow. Might have a 5 to 8 min 8nterval were it ramps high. But for the most part its on lower settings.

Don't get me wrong, it is moving a lot of water but I thought I was going to need a dimmer. I currently do not have a sump, and my ATO float sensor is in the tank so W1 is the only mode I cannot use. I guess my issue is I am use to 2-3 power heads in a tank. With just the WP 25 I have a slow/dead spot directly under the pump. Might have to add a K1 or 2 to get rid of that spot.

Ahh ic what you are saying. Yeah having the float switch in tank in wave mode could definately cause problems. A k1 or 2 would help with dead spots. Wp10 would acctually work also. And if you ever do a sump you have the major flow in a 40b.

Can someone explain the difference between w2 and w3. The manual leaves something to be desired....

User instructions and functional analysis of panel

Up to 7 models to choose from: choose different mode by using “MODE/FEED” bottom. The mode functions are as following:
H1: Fixed maximum flow mode.
H2:75% fixed maximum flow mode.
H3:50% fixed maximum flow mode.
W1: Classical wave mode:

This bottom can work with the big knob on left side to adjust the size of wave in the tank. Every water tank is different. When length of water tank is equal to a length of wave, the wave can reach to maximum peak. When you adjust knob clockwise, it increases a length of wave, otherwise it will decrease a length of wave.

Tips: slightly adjust knob and wait 10 seconds more to watch wave, in thus to get the best wave you want.

With bottom “SPEED/LOCK” and choose one of S1, S2,or S3 for W1 mode. There are 3 types to control stream.

S1: maximum stream.
S2: 75% maximum stream.
S3: 50% maximum stream.
W2, W3: Fixed program pattern for waves and streams:
Based on different creatures in the tank, work with knob to change types of waves and streams.
Else: Non-fixed program pattern for waves and streams:
Based on different creatures in the tank, work with knob to change types of waves and streams.

Thanks Jim, the only thing I don't understand is the actually difference between W2 and W3 mode.

I think it's going to be a trial and error method on those two.

W2 speeds up from a low flow to the maximum flow rate in 6 steps and slows down similarly.

W3 speeds up from a low flow to the maximum flow in 6 steps and slows down in 8 steps.
