So this morning I grabbed a yellow leather (not a fiji) it's similar but still a nice piece and still want to add a fiji. I'll update with another pic once it settles in and the polyps extend.

So,
For the last 3 weeks I was losing a battle with a major dino outbreak to the point I was changing out filter socks 3 times a day. Sitting scratching my head with my wife as to what's next (me throw it out the door) she said, you never had these in any tanks back in the 80's..... So what's different,so after about 3 minutes it hit me bio-balls. So I went to my old boxes of tank stuff and sitting in all their glory giant red bioballs,so I cleaned them put them in a tub of saltwater with dr.tims instant cycle for a few days with a power head moving the water. So I put them in my sump and within a few days they were disappearing and now I'm almost dino free. I was too embarrassed to take pics but I'm sold that the bioballs did the trick by over loading the system with good bacteria....

Ha!

If you need some more I have a bunch of them. ;-)

Wonder what makes a difference bioballs vs small live rocks in the sump.

I'll be interested in what it grows into. I almost bought it , but I've never even heard of the place and his tanks scared me off a bit

I scrubbed the coral, its still upset with me but it will be fine. I also cut it off the rock it was on. I went down to Sea Level today and grabbed a few frags that hopefully the Emperor doesn't eat.

Right? It's one of my favorite corals, I had it shipped to me with an Indo Pacific sea farms order, before my tank was even fully cycled. I don't know if it's my tank or the type but he barley sheds for longer than over night.
