Hey NJRC family. We will be having our NJRC meeting and get together on August 23rd at the Bergen Space in Hackensack. We need a head count because we will also be providing food and drinks for the meeting. Please respond with a yes or no and how many. Please keep this thread for this meeting ONLY. Any other discussions can be had in a separate thread. Meeting will be from 12pm-4pm. We will also have a raffle during the meeting with prize/prizes TBA. If you need some info on the location, please see my previous thread about the reef program at the school. Let me know if you have any questions.

Off-topic question ~ Are you currently culturing both Pheaodactylum tricornutum and Chlorella vulgaris? I had a long talk with my Chat GPT 4o bot, and I'm switching to these two. My new cultures are arriving from Reef Legends next week, but it would be nice to have you as a back-up when I screw up. Let me know if you'd like some of either or both if you don't already have them in your collection.

Hi Bob, I don't have these 2, and I don't really culture diatoms. But Would love some Chlorella vulgaris.

The address for your GPS is 284 Hackensack Avenue, 07601. You can park in the North lot of the school (big sign that says BELA, just before the Chick Fil A). I suggest approaching from the south on Hackensack Ave as you can't turn left into that entrance from southbound Hackensack Avenue.

Hi David. Mark here. I went to Bergen Tech and was in that annex when they started using it for computer technology and CAD/CAM. Just curious if George Gonzales ever pops his head in. If so, please say hi to him from Mark Corkin (the kid that designed the chess set).
