@MadReefer I went through some tanks eventually settled on this 125g and a 40g high tech. Just water changes and automatic feeders. Going to be like this for a while.
@Wilson416 I totally forgot about this thread. As you can I in the video I have 4 tiger barbs in there. They actually swim in a tight school all the time. They quibble with each other all the time adding a lot of interests to the tank.

Yes. These are electric blue acaras. These are young adults so that's pretty much how big they're going to get. To my surprise they like to hang out together. The color on these guys are unreal yet still fit into the naturalistic amazon look.
The other larger fish are geophagus, aka earth eaters. they sift sand all day so no need to vacuum the sand bed. There are two species of them in there the larger ones will grow to about 8 inches with flowing fin extensions so that's a sight to look forward to.
