    Bad; ammonia and nitrate spike of unknown origin (ammonia.5 nitrate 60) Worse; I don't have any water to do a change. :'( All other tests are right on wheir they belong 3 of 8 stonies dont have thir usual full polyps this could be reason yes?

    Here is a pic of the one I have. Is there a way to tell if it is male or female, and what else do i need to make sure of (other than captive bred) before getting another? I don't want a fight in my tank and only wind up with only one anyway.

    OK I just wanted to see what the average was I don't have the ability to set up a auto top off now so I will just keep a watchful eye.

    How much water do you go through? I have a fan to pull heat out of my canopy from the halides, and my temp stays in the 78-79 degree range. I go through about 2 gallons a day, seems like a lot to me. How can I cut this down?

    Cutting off a mushroom

    If you cut it off will it not regenerate and you will have 2 shrooms. I have seen this done and it worked, didn't take long for both to recover ether.
