Im getting ready to swich out one of my tanks with a new one should i worry about moving the sand bed to othe tank is there anything to worry about...I want to drain the one half way and pull rocks o0ut and rinse them in fresh mixed salt water to get rid of debris then suck sand into buckets...
I have some rock that that has been out of water for serveral months and I want to add it to my new tank. It still has a faint odor to it.... What should I do to it before adding to the new tank?

What is the best way to filter a 10 gallon AGA nano? Are there HOB overflows for a tank this small? Or just drill back with bulkheads and strainer intake?

but would like to have an open front without that support. Anyone know much about building? Will it be enough support without it? What if I added more center supports along the top ?
I looked for 2x4's at home depot today... It looks like the only kind of2x4 are douglas fir green OR kiln Dried douglas fir? WHich one is the best or shoud i checkout lowes?
Anyone have tip for removing scratches from inside and outside of empty tank? Most arepretty fine swirls but some others are deeper. Or is there no fixing this?
The Garf Plan uses a piece of 3/4 plywood for the top where the tank rests yet most other stands i have seen sit on rails is there advantages to each method? With the plywood they recomend 3/4" pywood would it be safer to go thicker and what about drilling holes in plywood is that safe?>
