I've been using the salifert but i'm not to sure about their ph test kit it seems to never go above 8.0 i tested side by side with an api one and the api reads 8.4

Thats prolly your best bet is to leave him alone hopefully it will come around

you should have a mag level of around 1350 I keep mine at 1450 and my calcium at 450 you want no amonia

what about Amonia

Ouch My old frogspwan did the same thing iodine dipped it and kept it at the bottom of the tank for a very long time gave it to my friend after it started to come around

You need to pickup a 5 gallon tank and treat him stress coat isnt going to help search for different diseases on google with pics and see if you can figure out what it is before he dies or contaminates the rest of your tank
