Speaking of progress... I want to send a HUGE thanks to Grink. He really hooked me up with some softies and LPS frags to get some clothes on my naked tank. Pics will come in another day or so when everything opens back up.
HAHAHAHA!! I think the exact same when it happens. It startles me enough to jerk my arm which tosses a lot of water out of the tank. I started using one of my plastic rods that has a scrubber at the end of it as a distraction.
The flow is not restricted at all. I had a few inches of open space between the end of the elbow and the water line so it was pretty noisy. All I did was cut a couple inch piece of pvc and slip it into the elbow so there was only about 1/4 of an inch space. It also gives me the option to...
Hahaha! My clown is NASTY. Its a gold banded maroon. She attacks me every time i have to do something in the tank. I need to get her a new anemone to distract her.
Thanks for that.
I almost forgot to test a power outage. So I hit the switch and got ready to turn it back on. Im pleased to report that with all water drained from the plumbing left me with about an inch and a half in the sump. Sweet! Apologies if it seems like im bragging. Theres just a...

Progress was stalled due to my father passing away last week but I managed to get some things done.
Installed the baffles that Creekside Glass cut for me in the 20L
I had to cut a notch out of the back of the stand to get the sump in but I managed.
I also finished up my first plumbing...
Yep! Just one plug. I'm using the stock program that ramps up and back down in half hour increments. I'll reprogram once I get some eye candy in the tank. There's is a place in Pemberton that does glass called Creekside Glass & Mirror. I had priced some baffles last year with them and it...
i HATE being "that guy" but... Isnt your tank a 55 gallon? I would have thought that would be way too small for a yellow tang...for any tang for that matter. I've always been told that putting them in a 75 was even pushing it. Maybe it got stressed due to that?
