Ok so I Built my own overflow cali style can anyone help me with where I place it. I need to know how far from the top of the tank I should place it It will be centered in the tank. Just need depth thank all Bobb. Im asking everywhere till I get an answer ;)

Ok guys and gals I just finished my overflow box cali style and I was wonder if you all could help me with the placement. So far Ive got inside the tank on the back wall ;D But how deep from the water level should it be. Also is my water level going to be to the top of the tank or an inch below...

ok I just recieved my electric bill for the month of march it is 650. and I don't even have my tank up and running yet. What kind of increase can i figure on with a 265 gallon display with a 150 gallon sump and metal halides. Not looking forward to an 800. a month bill.
