i have a kole, yellow, & purple tang. none of them touched the stuff.

noticed what looks to be a little bit of bryposis growing on a couple of my koralia's. thankfully i do not see anywhere else in the tank. i've already battled this monster once (last year). i've removed both powerheads from the tank, how would you suggest cleaning them?

i had this problem awhile back. i upped the mag and pulled out as much as i could each day and it eventually went away. when pulling it out, turn off all pumps and powerheads to prevent spreading. use a small net to check any pieces that might be floating in the water when pulling. good luck.

i would, but he is actually a bit of recluse. only comes out to eat and messing with other fish. and any find of trap i could set using food with be shredded by my three tangs who are basically pigs with gills. i might try a bottle or something with a small opening that the tangs could not fit into.
