yeah, i agree. i had one in a 55g for over a year way back in the early 90's, def one of the coolest fish i ever owned. i would actually love to remove the kole tang and the purple tang. oh well, think i am just gonna stay 'as is' for the time being. thanks for talking me off the ledge guys.

awesome! my real concern is the purple tang, he's quite aggressive. i tried a hippo tang about a year ago, he lasted a day. came home after work and found that tried to escape. i would actually love to remove the purple tang, but not gonna happen.

i have a huge kenya tree in my tank, about 9-10 inches wide. it has spread, dropping babies all over. i remove any of the new droppings and pass them on to whomever wants them. the main stalk does goes into a hibernation type state everyone once and a while. this usually lasts 3-4 days or so...

yeah its a 55g fuge, but it is seperated in two sections- macro algae section & live rock section. the sections are seperated by egg crate, just so the the macro algae doesnt take hold on the live rock or clog up the over flow.
