Not sure why you would want loc line under the sand. You could just run PVC to where it will come up out of the sand then adapt it to fit the loc line.

Not bad, can you briefly tell us what you did? I use photoshop, and generally all I do is have the White Balance set for the lighting at the time. What you did with that pic looks great, and real.

I think I do have a couple. 1" and 3/4". Uniseals are the way to go when modifying a skimmer.

Dan, I have two drills (hole saws) for the 3/4" and 1" Uniseals. I used them when I modified my skimmer. If Rich does not have these, you are welcome to come by my house on your way down and pick them up. They have the built in Pilot drill, very easy to use.
