Candi,
Sponge Bob rules!!! Yes, I hang out with my 6 year old neice a lot, but I'm the one who got her started lol I definitely think whoever wrote that episode has a tank or at least saw that scary posting on the site lol.
Tom
Candi,
Target has some heavy duty 30/40 gallon tubs. I didn't mention because I was guessing that all of your stuff might not fit. I have the tan one that I do water changes with on my 65 FOWLR and dump a lot of water into it. You could definitely use that. I think it was $10 or less (I could...
I don't really see why it wouldn't work for a short term duration, the inhabitants probably won't mind too much as long as they can eat. Just be prepared from some stress during the move to the new container. I would replace the sandbed though, might stir up some garly stuff when getting the...
Thanks for that link, Gabe. I hadn't thought about an external CL, that may be the trick there!!! (sorry about that last post, my page didn't update for some odd reason).
I ad forgotten about the microbubble issue. I think tee'ing off the fuge might do the trick for the redirect, so now it's just figuring out a CL. Does that sound about right?
Tom
I guess I had made more out of this than I should have LOL
I had planned on tee'ing the return to feed the fuge, so that part is easy enough. The CL could be plumbed off of the divider wall or I could just use a Hydor Koralia on the divider wall (but I would really rather not have any...
Thanks for the replies I really appreciate it a lot! Hope your wrist gets better soon Merv!
What I am getting thus far (making sure that I am understanding correctly) is that a single 1 inch drain should be sufficient. That is taking into account that the main display is roughly 43/44 gallons...
I am finally beginning to come to terms with the new tank dimensions, yet I am still left with some plumbing questions, some of which were posted already but will ask again for context.
1. Will a single 1 inch drain be sufficient to service the tank?
2. If not, then the second drain should be...
I am currently considering grabbing one of these and hooking it up directly to the Mag 9.5 that I have (950 gph) as a single flow point in the tank (34 x 21 x 14), e.g. this would be the only thing generating flow in the tank.
Would that be feasible with the WavySea or should I upgrade the pump...
Does anyone here have any personal experience with the WavySea?
http://www.wavysea.com
I am really considering this for my new tank and was wondering if someone could their experience with it.
Thanks,
Tom
Scopas tangs are pretty darn cute too!!!
I think that your choices would work pretty well, that is basically the mix they have over at Tropiquarium for their coral tanks.
I have an issue to work out and I am not really sure what to do and could really use some advice.
Here is what’s going on:
I am in the process of putting together a new nano. The original specs called for a 15 gallon (24 x 12 x12). I was intending to do a lot of the DIY myself. It turns out...
I wish my blastos looked like that, if anyone has blastos that really look like that I want a frag!!!!!!!!!. The shot was color toned in PhotoShop.
