how cool can i keep live rock while curing. I plan on doing this in my basement but don't want to have to run heat on it if i can help it.

Terry's Grandmom (we called her Mom Mom) passed away last night a little afer 8 pm. Terry and I were with her. It was very hard for Terry but she made it through.

I would say 32 or 3 times in 30 plus years. Not bad but each time was while we were away. Not good

As many of you know Terry's Grandmom lives with us. She is 87. When we came back from MACNA she was very weak, Terry's mom stayed with her while we were at MACNA. She has stopped eating and we have had to call in Hospice for help. Please keep us in your prayers. We are just waiting.

Great topic Bill but since i didn't get to this one i'll have to go along for the ride. One thing i'm glad to hear i don't have to go get a new skimmer. While i have no quantitative eveidence, my thought would be GAC is a benifit. As it has been mentioned you will need to change it often

Don't know about in the north but when i need something special like that i just ask my LFS if they can order it for me. Usually not a problem and they have it for me the next week.

If you add them together you will be better off then adding one at a time. I have also heard it is better to have odd numbers, so it would be three, five etc. Not speaking from experience here so someone else can chime in
