The cap is the problem. Losing Rafalski isn't to bad. He's getting older and the game is much faster now with the new rule changes. Losing Gomez is going to hurt though, especially losing him to the Rangers. There just wasn't enough money to sign him.
I have faith in the Devils front office...
I'm not sure how much it would help with the heat. I noticed on my tank it takes a few hours after the mh's shut off for it to cool down and it won't start cooling until all three mh's have shut off. (My mh's are time to go one one at a time and go off one at a time with one hour intervals in...
Nope, started receding again. I moved again this time under a shelf out of the direct light and am still keeping an eye on it. Out of a nice 6" by 4" piece I have about 2x1 left :(
Everything else in the tank is doing great. It's just the favia I'm having probelms with.
The problem is that if you even raise your voice to your child in a public place people are looking to report you for child abuse, never mind giving them a well deserved spanking.
My wife and my mother-in-law were out shopping in JC Penny's one day with Robert and he ran off and hid inside one...
After reading some of the reviews on RC about Miracels in Glass, I asked for a quote on a 60x24x30 (180 gal) tank with a starphire front, coast to coast overflow on the back, drilled for a closed loop and have it shipped to NJ and was really surprised at how reasonable the price was. I would...
The only thing that was remotely close was some yellow polyps, but there was a good 12+ inches between them. I did a water change and moved it from the original spot I placed it and it seems to have stopped receding. I did notice my purple tang picking at it a couple of times, but he seemed to...
I put some cheato and cap in my fuge a couple weeks ago and it absolutly helped get my phophates down. I'm not sure it does anything for nitrates though. I have a DSB in my fuge for that reason, along with my skimmer.
My new Favia has been receding the last couple of days. The polyps that are dieing off have a white cob web like substance on them. Any ideas what might be causing it and how I can stop the receding?
Aquatic Obsessions in Woodbridge carries the Salifert test kits at a comparable price to online vendors and if your an NJRC member you also get a 10% discount.
That's what I have in my fuge and for the same reason your looking to do it. I don't like a DSB in the main tank, so this set up allowed me to keep the bed in the tank shallow and still get the benefits of a deep bed. My sand bed in my fuge is about 5" or so deep with some live rock and cheato...
It's a really pretty picture Merv. I don't think I've ever been lucky enough to see a sunset like that in NJ.
Do you mind if I copy it to my comp? It would make a really nice desktop theme.
I found out about my Hydor leak (the second one) when I was cleaning the tank and leaned back against a metal support pole in my basement. As soon as I grounded out to the pole I felt the charge run up my arm that was inside the tank. I now make it a daily check to place a finger in the water...
