i have the same eagle eyes. mine grew twice as fast as any other colony in my tank. mine are also very tight to the rock (no base)anyone else notice this with their eagleeyes?
i used joes juice on mine in the same situation, came up smack dead in the middle of my colony . i just carefully spread the juice on the disc, trying as much as possible to avoid my zoas.zoas stayed closed for a few days ( most likely from the stings not the juice)......also not a bad idea...
OK COOL. I DID SOME READING TODAY AND FOUND A FEW PAGES ABOUT TIGER LEG HERMITS, THEY SUPPPOSEDLY DO THE TRICK BUT OTHER PAGES SAID NO..OH WELL. I ALSO READ THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY GOOD CORAL FOOD AS THEIR LARVAE ARE FREE FLOATING
anyone know how to eradicate these things? i have a small outbreak of them and they seem to bother my zoas with their webs. any fish or inverts that will eat them? i only have a 24 gallon at the moment so need something kinda small
any help is appreciated
scott
imo- i wouldnt worry about feeding soft corals. any kind of frozen food works good for fish though. defrost it in a cup and rinse it in clean water in a fine mesh net to remove the nasty water its packed in. as far as a pellet i found my fish, hermit, crabs and snails allll like supersoft...
