i would think so, not sure though. i saw a dude with a 55 gallon with some fugazy lighting over it with some plates in it. i dont believe they need that much light, but have never had them myself
i think its garf.com..or .org. really dunno. but i know that microfauna cannot be separated from the sand, thats why i worded it the way i did... also not saying that noone on here is helpful, i have met a bunch of people from here that have been more than helpful just so happens that noone did...
well.. that and you can look back a few pages, i made a post for sand critters like brittle stars and fan worms and such and would you like to know how many people got back to me? give ya a hint..it was not +1, it was ZERO.....soooo due to noone wanting to help a nubie at the moment i ordered...
2.5 gallons weekly on my 24 gallon. i was doing about 5 gallons weekly but was running into problems. i think that the huge spike in mineral content too quickly from large water changes can actually be counter-productive... just my 2 1/2 cents.
id have to agree with mnat. its what works for you. try it a few different ways and keep testing your levels to see what kind of spikes you get from what.. also let your fish tell you with their behavior when they are hungry
no i know they are ok. im just telling him that mine do the same thing, they close real tight sometimes but then they re-open... dont worry, i got this. haha
thats the ones i got... i mean, i know theres more than one species of snail in nj waters and all, but no matter where i have gone lookin, these are the guys i find everywhere. and again, in my opinion they work better than the ones from the store just acclimate them very slow
