Do you have an algae problem? Do test for P04? Was curious to what's your reasoning to lowering your nitrate. I'm running 10ml per day and things haven't changed much. Hopefully within the next few weeks I'll see some results.

I think with this hobby we gotta take it slow I don't want to make to much changes to the tank all at once so I'll slowly try one method and if that doesn't work try another. Will keep peroxide in mind if vinegar doesn't help. Appreciate the suggestion. How's your nitrate mad?

Yea I wouldn't want to risk my sps. I do dip my zoas in peroxide with HA and it clear it up pretty easy. Also a strange thing is my zoas got really colorful afterward but one of my zoas closed up and haven't open so I haven't tried it again.

I got a respond that starting at 10ml, 1ml per 10gl would be fine so I will be dosing that to see if I can get rid of some these fuzzy hair algae and lower my nitrate.

Hmm I just asked why such a large range from 3.2ml to 10ml. on that link you sent.

Hmm I'm reading this article http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-08/nftt/index.php and it's for Vodka dosing and it state .1ml per 25gl. I have about 100gl so .4ml and mutiply that by 8 because I'm dosing vinegar. I get 3.2ml but I'm starting out at 2ml instead do you think I should stick with 3.2ml?

By hesitation do you mean upping the dosage or cutting back?
