Welcome to NJRC. I think the rock can be left out in the sun to bake. Then you can powerwash it and let it sit again. If you have a spare skimmer you can put it back in the container, add salt water, and skim it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I moved a 55 accross the room. I drained everything a little more than half way and put the fish in a bucket, put the rock in a rubbermaid and didn't touch the sand. Picked it up with my brother and set it back up in the new spot.
