Re-seal that connection and try to buy some hose clamps for the outside of it. They sell plastic ones that are black so they won't stand out as much as the metal ones. I've had great luck with http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3743+3858&pcatid=3858 heaters.

How deep are you going on the sand bed, and what type of sand did you decide to go with?

You can always get a new bulkhead with a new rubber washer to put on it and reseal that connection. The connection might have loosened up a bit in transport. It is a CPR CS50 overflow box.

I always find when I feed Cyclops-Eeze they seem to grow more.

Yea, it was suggested by some people I know that I should steer clear away from them. So far all three are still alive so I'm just taking it day by day. I'll keep you all posted.

It is puzzling. They all look like they are doing great. The one just does not eat thee foods I put in the tank.
