fwiw i also had a gyre 150 on the tank when it first came out (before the 130 was available) but it was way too much flow on any setting other then the lowest. with the 130 i am able to pulse the flow and get some wave action.

i have one in my 40 breeder and am very happy. i have it mounted vertically on a back corner and power is cranked half way. i had it mounted horizontally but prefer it vertically with my current rock work.

if you have a fuge you can get a chocolate chip starfish and cut a leg or two off and keep them growing in the fuge, you can add to the display as needed without the worry of the starfish eating coral
