The glass is 1/4" It doesn't need to be like crazily sanded down, but just enough. Also, how hard is it to drill into a 55 gallon tank? lol

Hey guys, I had glass cut for my new sump setup recently, and a few pieces are just a tad bit off (width) How can I make them a tiny bit smaller? Can I sand them down with some type of Sandpaper? Wet sand them? I needed them all 12" wide, where some are like 12 and a 1/16. Thanks -Dan
