Should I get more Live Rock to lower NO3?

everyone has suggested removing the biowheel. And using tap water is definitely going to hurt you in the long run...a lot. Asking advice is the best idea when unsire, but you should also try and follow the advise too.

    Aqua Oceans in Toms River

Went to Aqua Oceans last saturday witha friend. His store front is a house and the fish room is pretty small but don't let the size fool you. He had some gorgeous fish in there and at fantastic prices. Steve was very informative and was very eager to show us how well the fish were eating...

    My new 90 gallon

2 new fish added. A starry blenny from Aquatic Obsessions, and a female bellus angel from Steve at Aqua Oceans in Toms River. The starry is real tough to find in the tank, especially with the black sand, but he is cool to watch. The bellus on the other hand stands out and eats like a...

    Niger Trigger

Dr. Jim has an awesome looking niger that he says is mostly reef safe and it is mixed with many other fish in his tank so he seems to be peaceful. But he said there is a chance he will eat my shrimp and snails. I have a lot of shrimp and I like them. I think I will hold off for a blue jaw, for...

    Niger Trigger

Anyone have one in their reef? If so, does it pick at corals/eat snails and shrimp? I really want one since I love the look, but dont know if it's worth the risk. Blue jaw would probably be a safer bet right?

    My experience with nyaquatics.com

Come back with whatever bs you want, you know that the way you treat the fish in your cold, dingy garage is totally horrid. The 3 of us made the mistake of giving you another chance after the first order. And the prices I put are correct, 2 pairs of bellus angels, 5 blotchys all together, over a...

    My new 90 gallon

I was getting a lot of diatoms also, but it went away fairly quick with some nasarius snails. The little cyano bloom was making it look bad for a while though.

    Tunze vs. Vortech

I have 2 tunze and don't see the need for a wave box. Setting the high them to pulse from 0% to 100% alternating will wash water right out of my tank, the wave it makes is amazing. I cant see a wave box doing much more. One pro for the vortechs is the space they take up inside the tank, tunzes...
