I have a homemade durso and my display is very quiet. Also I have too much flow from my return pump so I have the return line with a "T" so relieve some of the water going back to the main tank
I do what Stan suggested, which is take the coral out of the bag and place it in the tank. He said that corals dont need to acclimate and I have never lost anything yet so it seems to be working for me.

I have them on sequential, pulsing between 0 and 40% power. They are facing directly at each other, when they weren't the sand was swirling around all over the place. The only place that the sand moves is dead center in front of the tank, but not too badly. Once a week I have to spread it back...
