Google for this skimmer, i had one and found alot of threads on it on other sites, its a good skimmer mine worked well. You can also lower and raise the water height in the sump to adjust the unit.

also forgot to mention the skimmer also provides the very important function of gas exchange for the system I dont know to many who would want to run something that makes bubbles in the display tank.

I have seen two seperate experienced reefers bleach many corals they have put under powerful LEDs, they both believe they are way more powerful than they thought. Can these things be raised if you end up with such a unit to tone them down a little?

I know a few guys who have reef tanks with much higher TDS than that and have kept all manner of corals for years with no RO units. They just use good quality detoxifiers/dechlorinators.

Home depot can never cut two pieces of wood within my tolerances even if they would do the plastic for you it will be 1/4 off from the next piece they cut for you. Go to a high end cabinet maker or someone along those lines.
