Currently in the tank I only have some sand (about 2" or so) with my powerheads/lights and skimmer....I am not planning to add rocks for mabey a month (until funds allow)...would a cup or so of sand from an estabilshed tank do anything right now or would I just be pointless and wasteing time....

He does get very active when I feed him ...but the other problem arises that I just dont want an oscar and I know if I dont take him ...he will just be "thrown away" ...If anyone knows anybody that wants a 10"+ Albino Oscar let me know..Ill give ya the oscar, and a XP2 canister filter....

I honestly think the HITH is too far along to cure....it was in the apt alone with no care for about 3 weeks...From what I can see it does look like it is suffering...just sitting on the bottom of the tank and not moving at all...real labored breathing as well......

Im located in Brooklawn...08030....I dont really trust any of the LFS around me to actually properly take care of him.....

OH...btw...he does look like he is fighting a bad case of hole-in-the-head...the couple time I went to the apt to help out he just sat at the bottom of the tank and did nothing....would it be better to just "put him down"

I need a 3 sided internal overflow...does anyone have any expierence with acrylic that is willing to make one for some money...I can give measuements if your willing to do it..

I understand if insted of using a 90 right out of the tank I should go to a "T" and put a cap on the top of it...then drill a small hole in that...that should stop some of the "flushing" correct?

I only have a 38gallon tank..and already have about 50lbs of LR in it...but with the new 38 I am setting up (drilled for overflows and such) I want to do rock on either side and leave the middle open...I just think I might need more rock than what I have right now...it would be great if I could...
