yeah i didnt filter it. i just kinda let it sit for a while and everything just kinda sank to the bottom and i put it in the tank and the crab i got in there molted like the next day

i feed him krill and feeder fish so hes gnna grow real fast. and yeah that probably caught u by surprise

yeah i knew that part but the first time i see him get a little grabby he is gonna be gone

im aware of the size restriction and he doesnt appear to care about the fish but i keep him very well fed

does anybody have experience with keeping a small blue crab in a tank. i have one right now and he isn't aggressive and eats all the left over food but there are a lot of people on other sites say its impossible. whats your opinion?

i have a fission nano skimmer i mod it a bit and it works fine and i have a zoo med power sweep and mine is still goin and is working great

i have a dwarf zebra lion and i have no problems feeding him, he loves his enviroment (i also put special care into getting rock that would help him though) and venemious fish can be kept you just have to be aware of what your doing with your hand in the tank

depending on what the stress level off the fish is you can do a freshwater dip, the marine ich dies off in freshwater and vise versa for freshwater ich. and there are a couple of ich "supplements" available that are reef safe they are just very very hard to find.

its not aiptasia, it almost looks like a pineapple sponge but its flat for right now.

i just noticed today that there is a very small tan looking polyp on my live rock and i was wondering if a mushroom can be seeded in ur tank with out ever putting a mushroom in the tank?
