I like the 24 gallon nano cubes personally I am just starting mine up after upgrading from the 12. Has enough light to keep softies and most everything you would want IMO

I think feather dusters are alot easier to keep IMO

I def think its a new head...i just bought one today and the guy had a few that looked just like it he said it always does that as its growing a new head...give it a week or two and youll see it take shape more.

I have both in my 12 gallong nano, just glue the GSP to a rock and keep it away from other corals. The kenya tree i keep at the very top of my tank so it can fully branch out all the time with no blockage.

The new yankees stadium is ridiculous I went to the last game at the old stadium and one of the first games at the new one and was blown away

I use the stock nano cube 12 gallon but recently in the process of doign the 24 and love it... Always used sponges only and water changes, just starting to use new thins like chemi pure and carbon etc.

How small live rock pieces are we talking about? And they will be fine with no light for sure? Or lat least I have the time to make it clear in the back and add a light. How much live rock? What exactly does the live rock do different than say...carbon or something of that sort? Sorry for all...

Alright thanks, Im going to wait until my tank matures more and see how my parameters are with what Ive got, but if I feel I can upgrade, I will def look you up for some clippings or whatnot. Will the live rock even do anythign being dark? I have cured live rock in an old tank but the lighting...

Mnat, where are you located and how would i go about attaching the red macro algae to my live rocks. Also, with the live rock rubble in your chamber did you cut off the black back and have a light on the back or just rubble sitting in the dark?

With My supplies what would be your ideal setup, without the cheato for the time being. Have 3 sponges, each one fills about half the chamber up Chemi pure Filter floss Carbon bags Ill look into the cheato and the lighting for the back etc as well. Again, thanks in advance.

Yea thanks Im gonna try to get that done in the next few days....why is chaeto so highly respected as use in a nano, will the things I said I am using work just fine, or will the difference between the two types be huge?

24 nano cube DX has enough light for softies and big enough for some nice fish

I change mine every 2 weeks and never had a problem....my brothers tank hasnt been changed in over a year.....and all thefish are alive and happy so not sure whats going on there.

Just stick with 50/50 they look nice:)

I have a six line, perc, bicolor blenny and lookign to get a royal grammer in my 24 nano cube also have a few shrimp...they all do fine together, the shrimp cleans the 6 line if hell hold still
