Brand New bulbs the came with the cube about a month ago. I also have 8 big nerite snails I believe they are. Just put in 2 fat turbos today.

Hey guys I have been having problems with my nano cube lighting. Every time I turn it on it like shorts out and shuts off all the power to the plug which then shuts off the filter and heater as well. Has anyone has this problem or have any idea how to fix it? I just had JBJ send me a new ballast...

I just put some of mine in a few minutes ago they all opened up and look good..just zoas and shrooms for now ill put the xenia and other things like that in later on in two week like you suggest

How long must I wait to put coral into my new tank? I have had fish in it for about a week and was cycling for about 2 weeks prior to that. Once all my parameters are good? Or is there a certain time I must wait even if the parameter's are good so I get no spikes?

If I were to get another fire shrimp would they pair up? The one I have now is almost full grown, so should I get a small one or one the same size?

Im guessing you just got your shrimp when they were very small and they changed on thier own like clownfish?

Seems like you guys have pairs of shrimp....II hope having a single of each species doesn't cause problems between the two. My tank has a pretty good amount of rock and will have alot of corals for the to hide near so hopefully everything works out.

Does anyone in the south jersey area happen to have some extra live sand or be willing to give up a scoop of live sand to help seed my new 24 gallon nano cube DX? Maybe someone that is selling corals I could buy some of those as well while I am there. Thanks
