its the nano cube DX stock lighting, forget exactly what it is, i think its 2 24watt dual bulbs about 20 inches off the sand, i keep zoas shrooms xenia rocs and few other things right now and are doing great
Yea I have had a few frags for about a month and already have 3-4 inch high stalks growing off the frags on my rocks, trying to keep them to one side of the tank so they dont take over my other corals, zoas mainly.
Hey I have a whole bunch of pom pom xenia and once every week I find a few stalks are scrunched closed real tight, not just like at night. they seem fine again a day or so later. should I be worries or has anyone else had this experience? Thankss
Yea no problem, I am still selling a small zoa frag, a nice hammer branch with like 10-15 heads and 3 other ricordea too. Please post pics ide love to see how everything is doing.
It looks like it might be what they call acute Brooklynella, or clownfihs disease....maybe.....it doesnt look as bad as even the minor cases, but has the slightly ragged fin and the whiteness around its gills/scales. Any ideas on what to treat with and how to do so? I dont want to have to go out...

Hey guys so my 24 gallon nano looks great, and I havent had any problems with nuisance algae or nitrates etc, but I as wondering how often does everyone feed thier fish and how much generally? I have a pair of small perc clowns, 6 linewraase, bi color blenny fire shrimp and camel shrimp along...

Problem is I dont want to have ton keep buying mass amounts of floss....to fill the chamber every week is alot of floss and alot of money I really do not want to keep forking out. Unless theres a cheaper way the sponge does an ok job if not to filter but to have the floss right at the intake level.
I live in moorestown nj, only 15 mins from philly....i have 2 shrimp and have had them live long lives before...thye just molt right when I introduce them to a new tank and are fine afterward.
