i have a 55 gal and a 20 high- i plan on using a Ehiem 2213 pump, bare bottom with power head to set up my quarantine tank- can I get away with the 20 high for medium size fish or should i plan for the 55 gal?
Anyone around Hawthorne that can help me lift a tank up some stairs? My brother was supposed to help but he flaked on me. I can trade you a nice colt coral for your time. I need to get the tank out tonight the guy is moving.

The mixture of the crushed coral with the fine sand has created a soupy cement like base- when i try to scoop it up it is like mud and stuck to the bottom of the tank.
i was setting up my first semi large tank 120. I filled the tank and checked the salinity- no problem. I read that it would be cheaper to seed my sand. So I added 30 lbs of live sand, 30 lbs of crushed coral and 100 lbs of playground sand Sakrete to the tank- i now have cement!!!!!!
If anyone...
Ok,
i want to set up a 75 gallon tank. I am trying to get opinions on lighting. I assume that eventually I would like some SPS. What size light would work on my 75? 30", 36 "? I already have a 250W PFO W 14K Phoenix, do i just get another or should I go with T5?
thanks
