I like this store, its in Elmwood Park, NJ (North Bergen). Have a couple of folks who really know their stuff (Lestor is one of them) Wish they had a larger selection (have to get there when the stuff comes in). Prices are pretty good. I wish they would clean the store up a bit.
I belonged to Windows of the Sea. Even wrote a article in the newletter. I was wondering what happen to those folks. I'm in Ridgewood. I know some folks are local to me but dont know how many. I though we did have a stantard day of the month that we have meetings. I just dont remember which one...
I have seen that, so whats up with that? This looks like a great place. Would love to hook up with some folks in Northern NJ. Even do some meetings up here.
This would of been the first time I was there, but NJ Reefers did have a monthly meeting at it in the last year (summer I beleive). They had a great web site. Wonder what happened?
If you dont get any answers here, I would throw this on the TRT web site. SHould get a answer there. (www.thereeftank.com). I dont use a skimmer, so I cant give you any opinion on those.
I would look at the flame Angel. Thats what I'm goin get. I do here that clams will be a problem with the flame.
Here are some others that may be reef safe:
Coral Beauty

Check this site out, has writeup on all fish...
I'm no expert but it sounds like you will have to let nature take it course. Water changes will help keep the Nitrite level down. Something must have caused a spike in demand on the systen that the current load could not handle. I would just let it settle down, again, with water changes.
Good...
