Could you turn off the wavemaker easier by putting the controller on a timer. You know what time the lights go out, so the wavemaker could go off then also. Hoever, if you could slow down (not turn off)the pump based on the light sensor input, that would be very interesting.
I have it set up but I really have not done any programming - just haven't had time. It is very powerful yet very simplistic. For those with multiple tanks, this is a great controller. It is very easy to add another monitoring station for about $200 each additional tank. It will control over 60...
David, you had multiple LED's, two speed dials, a three way switch, plus another dial. So yes, his one speed dial, one LED, and one two way switch is much simpler -- to me.
Phil,
Our company is primarily engaged in insulation and waterproofing, but we do have a crew that does gutter work. They are a great crew and they do some fascia replacement as part of a gutter install. If you can send a picture, I can ask him if this is something he would feel comfortable...
Your real problem may be hidden from normal view. I was having a major humidity problem in my attic. There was mildew everywhere and the humidity was 80%+. The moisture content in the plywood roof deck was over 30%. There were two changes that caused this, 150 gallon aquarium in the basement and...
This is cool. Did you see the eggs before they hatched? I have a pair of cleaner shrimp and every once in a while one of them hides in the protein skimmer section for a day or two and I wondered if it was spawning.
Santa should be bringing me one. If not, he's fired!
I'll let you know what I think, but it seems to be light years ahead of the others, at a very reasonable package price. Initially there were quite a few initial hiccups that have been worked through, so we will see.
OK, This explain the missing connection to the speed dial. I'm still just trying to bull through this with pure logic. I have one more question not related to the circuit. I have not used one of these Tunze pumps so it is probably a stupid question: I presume you are unplugging something from...
We had a great time as well. Great people and the food really was amazing. We researched it further and found out that there is a Maggianno(sp) in King of Prussia, PA which is near most of my family. We will find an excuse to go there soon. Thanks to Randy and Chris for showing their support -...
I agree with the above, but with this latest drawing I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The previous drawing had a lot of lines crossing each other and some interesections had a block and some did not. Also, there was an asterisk on some lines. Both of these really threw me off. I...
I do have two liters of the resin, loose. Are you sure the high silica is from your incoming water? It could be from food, supplements, salt, etc. I would do your Salifert test of the tap before and after the RO/DI just so you know where you stand - if you haven't already.
I'm not sure if I have any in stock, but yes, I've sold several large canisters to commercial aquaculture shops to add after the KATI ANI. This basically turns it into a 3 cansiter filtration system that really takes everything out of the water. It is only for fresh water, it is the same resin...
Silica is one of the few things that neither an RO or DI only system will completely eliminate. There are resins which concentrate on removing silica (and nitrate) and are run after the DI process. You should look for a resin that you can regenerate as the regeneration solution is salt water and...
Yes John, by maybe going up to one 6200. It just seems like the circuitry is too complex now and to have two pumps working in synch or inverse makes for more chance for failure IMHO. I've seen the Utube videos of 1.5" waves with fish and coral being whipped around and I ask why. I think a 1/2"...
John and Phyl are interested in two pumps. Tunze website states that one pump (wavebox) is recommended for under 317 gallons. An add on box is recommended only over 317 gallons. Remember that David's pump was not performing properly (damaged due to a surge) and he still got a wave going in a 265...
The blue bagged chemicals were for the raffle. I put them down in the kitchen when I came in and they were quickly moved SOMEWHERE. I asked a couple people, but no one knew where they were. Can you bring them to the next meeting for the raffle?
