I have to change my bulbs In a few months right now i'm running 10000 k. IS there and negatives with changing to 14000. I know alot of people run 20000k. Also where do people pick up there halide bulbs at is there a cheap web site or something. Thanks Bill

the coral was under halides but 20 k rather than my 1o k. yeah I guess so it was a big piece could not pass it up

hey thanks for the quick reply. I have metal halids. its 5 inchs from the water line or so. I saw polyp extension today on some of the branchs. Its a pink green acro cluster type. So i guess i should give it some time Like i said befor I might but a nother maxi get in tomorrow

Hey I just got a new acro the other day. Was a pretty big piece looked greta at the store. So when I looked at it today it looks white in the center. I let it sit in the water for hour and a half and all my levels are good. I just started keeping acros. SHould I put more flow on the coral? Or...

alk and calcium are with it noraml limits but i do not test for mag i do add it though 2 a week

Hey I have a 150 reef tank with around 300 lbs of live rock, a wet dry system and a fuval. I'm thinking of adding a refugium to the tank. Is it really worth the cost??? I'm doing also a weekly water change of around 15-20 gallons. Does any one else do a weekly water change??

Hey what does every one think of JBJ chillers. I got one around 1 and ahalf a ago and the temp gauge went after 5 months shipped it back to calf for 200 bucks. Then this morning the temp is reading at 74 when the tank is at 80. I 'm going to call monday. Any one else have problems

I got home from work this moring and saw my pride and joy 150 reef tank temp on my chiller reading 71 degrees. The heater is set at 78 degrees. The dam thing broke less than year old 100 bucks down the drain. I have sps and lps fish and inverts the coral seems to be expaning the fish look...
