I say that to my "wife" all the time hahaha. I have been in there MANY times since I have started the hobby. I mean its the same routine every time. I go in and I walk around and walk around, noone ever goes out of their way to help. Their selection is amazing and the tanks are breathtaking...
Hahaha, I guess I could give them up occasionally ;)
Anyways, it is yet to be seen how he is going to behave being out on a steady basis. I mean he was out a few times today but "darted" right back into his hiding spot as soon as I turned around to look. If I measure the tank I'm pretty sure we...
Yeah I did find him this morning ;D So anyway I set my lighting schedule to Wendy's. She's such a big part in what I do, her and James have really helped me so much! So here it is
9 am- Blues ON
10:30 am - Daylights ON
6:30 pm- Daylights OFF
9 pm- Blues OFF
True true. I had to do my water change today and my nitrates have been about 20 ppm for awhile so I did a 5 gallon change instead of 3.5. Not to much more but maybe it will hopefully stop my algae growth. Did you see my question in G.D.?
Just wondering...
I am have the Sundial T-5'S
2 White/2 Blue Moon Lights.
I have the whites come on at 12 and they turn off at about 5.
Then I have the Moon lights come on at 6 and turn off at 10.
Is this a good cycle? No corals yet, just the Toadstool that I'll be getting tomorrow!
So any...
Wouldn't even come out for food though. I have a lot of openings in the rock so he must've picked a reallyyy good hiding spot because I can't find him at all.
Have NO idea where he is, I just feed them to see if he'd maybe pop out and there is absolutely no sign of him. I really would like my Nitrates NOT to spike because of a dead fish!
Nice aqua scaping man. It wonders me how you got the pile on the right to stand lol. You've got a lot of nice stacks that will be perfect for corals. Hows your water quality?
Firefish :)
Got me a firefish today up at Trop. I couldn't resist it. I got a little bit more of rock as well. Just like 3 smaller pieces just to fill in spots. So anyway the fish is doing good so far. He should be alright with the two clowns, damsel, and Six-line. Noone has really made moves...
Yeah I never thought of that. I just have them on opposite sides of the tank. One aimed towards the top and one towards the middle. I have contacted candi through PM, email, and posted on the board shes selling on. I want to make sure I get that coral.
Doing some research here and finding that the Toadstool leather sounds good so far. I found that alot of reefers have trouble with polyps. Mainly because of how quickly they spread. I also found that I like the Button Polyps, they seem to not need to much. I have 2 Korolla Powerheads so I should...
Sounds good, you said inverts/corals? I def. want just maybe 2 frags of softies. I could really use some more turbo snails as well. I just don't know where to look at what I can buy and where to submit it lol I've never done a group buy!
Yeah maybe I think I can put some easier beginner corals in there. I mean I think I've been patient enough. JR I can get the iverts/corals on here? And if so could you tell me where I can buy them on here lol. Thanks for the great comments from both JR and Wendy, Really appreciate the support :)
