Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Glad to hear you're happy with it, I think I'm going to order one for my 55 & just get the 12v to tune it down a bit. With my luck it would cause tidal waves and I'd have a gallon of water on the floor. Does it seem to be well made?
Ok so I'm currently battling cyano algae, for some background it mostly takes up sand & rock but also the glass. I'm going to be taking out the rock soon to replace it so I'm wondering if this will work.
1. Take out all the existing rock put it in a Tupperware container with no light, will it...
I know a couple of people on here were talking about how they had them on order, just curious if anyone had received them yet. If so, how are they working? I was thinking about getting them for my 55g since I'm in the market for new powerheads.
I need to buy a float valve, I know they only cost a few dollars but every time I search them on amazon/eBay it shows items costing upwards of $30/40. Could someone point me in the proper direction? Also what pumps do you guys use, I have a 55g so I was looking into buying toms aqualifter
You should've built another stand, I would've helped! did you keep everything or sell it off, but I agree coming home to a tank over the floor would be thousands of dollars in damage to both the tank and floors of your home. Hopefully you get back up and running soon
No worries, these could actually save me & a lot of people money if they intend on upgrading fairly soon but still need something for time being. Plus you guys know a lot more than me so I'm always interested to hear what people have to say. I'm def going to hold off on buying anything & wait to...
Maybe I will get them and just tune it down with a power supply that way I can use it when I upgrade to a bigger tank. That being said, do you think 1 with a 12v power supply will be sufficient for a 55g
Any insight as to which grow like that? I'm pretty sure xenias are like that although I am not certain. I'll probably lean to zoas they're the most appealing to me
So I'm finally going to start dipping my hands into corals & I'm looking for some recommendations on some nice beginner corals.
